To the editor:

Wow, what a terrific time was had by all who attended the M-Bar-C Annual Walk/Ride-A-Thon.

The well-marked and maintained walking paths and riding trails provided all participants with both a scenic and safe journey to raise funds for local 4-H clubs and the M-Bar-C Ranch.

It was hard to find anyone without a smile on their face as they satisfied their hunger with tasty burgers straight from the grill. If you missed it, make it a family event and plan to attend next year.

A special thank you to the Alpaca and Leather and Lace 4-H clubs of South Whidbey, the South Whidbey Record and the M-Bar-C Ranch volunteers for helping to make this event such a big success.
