LETTER TO THE EDITOR | Thrilled to have Callison as mayor

Editor, I am thrilled that Langley’s new mayor is Tim Callison. We are blessed as a community to have someone with so much business sensibility take the reins from our beloved Mayor Fred McCarthy. Tim has been an inspiration to me as I walked through the unique opportunities at the Island County Fairgrounds as the Port of South Whidbey’s fairgrounds property manager.

I am thrilled that Langley’s new mayor is Tim Callison. We are blessed as a community to have someone with so much business sensibility take the reins from our beloved Mayor Fred McCarthy.

Tim has been an inspiration to me as I walked through the unique opportunities at the Island County Fairgrounds as the Port of South Whidbey’s fairgrounds property manager. In addition, he has been steadfast at other community meetings where his expertise was provided in a humble and generous fashion.

Congratulations, Tim! You could have stayed retired, but you chose to lead our beautiful town of Langley, and for that we are most grateful.
