I believe that I have a unique perspective on Tim Callison and his fit for the position of mayor for the City of Langley.

I am a Washington resident and also a former employee of Tim’s. Tim was the president of a marketing and sales organization for a global manufacturing company that I was also a part of. He started his career as a laborer on the manufacturing floor and through determination, hard work and diligence he worked his way to the top leadership role. He did not rely on others to do his work for him and he did not ride on the coat tails of others during his journey in corporate America.

With Tim at the helm, I always knew we had a leader that had a vision for the future of the company and for the employees as well. His vision created a culture of innovation, growth and success. Personally, Tim invested time in me as an employee and facilitated growth in areas where he knew there was potential. Along the way Tim also became a friend and I was overjoyed to learn of his coming to Washington State.

As a Washington native, I could see that Tim had come “home” when he moved here from Indiana years ago. He just naturally fit in with the relaxed Northwest lifestyle. You can just tell that he loves Washington and Langley. If you met him today for the first time you would assume he had been here his entire life.

As a mayoral candidate for the City of Langley, Tim is in a position to apply both his love of our region and his many years of successful leadership in business in the role of mayor. His passion, style and vision will benefit Langley in great ways. When people speak, he listens. I have seen this firsthand and I know that the energy that he brings to the table will keep Langley one of the best cities in the Puget Sound area.

I endorse Tim Callison for the position of mayor for Langley, Washington. He is the sound choice!
