To the editor:

Most of the residents of the South End are aware that we have a serious rat problem.

This could certainly be cut down by people who leave grain outside for the deer. The deer are well-fed on the island eating the natural brush. Take a flashlight about 2 a.m. and check the grain; you’ll be surprised.

Do the right thing and practice common sense. Unless you prefer the rats.
