Editor,

Regarding the meandering wanderer, a letter to the editor that appeared in The Record on Feb. 26, Mr. Schmidt has been a regular visitor to Bush Point and Lagoon Point for the past 10 years.

Sunsets are part of the reason we live here. Gunther reminds us why as nobody likes a sunset better than he. Most 90 year olds are not considered a threat so we hope the apology to your neighbors was accepted.

In the future, when we have a clear sky, take the Route 5 bus at 3:18 p.m. to Freeland, the Route 1 bus at 3:35 p.m. to Bush Point and enjoy an afternoon.

We have great sunsets, as you know from your many wanderings, and we’d be happy to drive you home.
