LETTER TO THE EDITOR | Wind blows thanks to The Record, schools and church

Editor, South Whidbey Wind basketball team, parents, and coaches wanted to express our appreciation for the recent article in The Record. We are thankful for the tremendous support we receive from the newspaper, South Whidbey Schools and Trinity Lutheran Church to use gym facilities, and the numerous South Whidbey and Coupeville students who have been assistant coaches over the seven years of our existence. It is great to start off our eighth season as defending state champs in two different age categories.

Any interested person who experiences a developmental or intellectual disability, please know you are welcome to join us Saturdays from 10 to 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Freeland.
