LETTERS TO THE EDITOR | All signs point to Jennings

On behalf of the Langley Chamber of Commerce and the Langley community, I would like to express our gratitude to all of the people who worked on the Langley signage project: The highway sign on 525, the Langley Loops signs and the two new signs at both entrances to Langley. The list of folks who worked on this is long and impressive. However, none of it would have happened with the captain at the helm, Sherry Jennings.

I won’t go into the litany of obstructions that were thrown at her by Island County and the State DOT. Just know that they were myriad. Her tenacity and commitment to the economic wellbeing of Langley were represented by this project. And the results are wonderful.

Thank you, Sherry.
