This spring I experienced a hiccup in my Internet service that made it impossible to run my online business.

This spring I experienced a hiccup in my Internet service that made it impossible to run my online business. Like many on Whidbey Island I rely on the web for my livelihood and one of the great things about living here is having both a rural lifestyle and super high-speed Internet access. Until it doesn’t work. I had the maddening experience of suddenly not being able to access my business homepage. Every other web page worked fine but mine. And everyone else in the world could access the page just fine.

I spoke with a number of Whidbey Telecom techs and, after some lengthy troubleshooting, they finally rooted out the problem and fixed it. The fix took a while because the problem was so weird, but what impressed me about Whidbey Telecom was the diligence, courtesy and professionalism I experienced from everyone involved. I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t have gotten the service or solution from a larger national web provider so I wanted to say thanks, Whidbeytel. I’m keeping my business local!
