Signs [and lack of] point to the right candidate | LETTER TO THE EDITOR

To the editor:

After reviewing the political literature arriving in my Island County post office box, and after puzzling through the their sign boards and electronic media versions, I have arrived at a lingering dilemma. I can’t decide, yet, who to vote for!

Island County roads have been polluted by thousands of signs, and they provide no assistance in dealing seriously with the issues that matter. Half of these candidates sound a bit loony on the issues I care about. And the other half seem tired and bored. Oh well, I must admit there are a couple exceptions.

Well, having given some thought to the problem, I have struck on a way out of this political void.

The candidates who have placed the fewest sign boards along Highway 20/Highway 525, will get first consideration. And the candidates who have avoided placing signs on dangerous curves in the road will get my top attention.

So, guess which candidate for Island County coroner gets my vote?

Guess which candidates for U.S. House of Representatives and U.S. Senate get my vote?

Guess which which candidate for Island County commissioner gets the strokes of my black ink?

If any of you haven’t voted yet, please consider the wisdom of how I’m throwing my support this year.
