Some enjoyed Navy pilot’s sense of humor

Editor,

To the sky pilot from Naval Air Station Whidbey Island who flew over the Okanogan Valley this afternoon:

While some may find your art work offensive, beauty is in the eye of the beholder and I appreciate your efforts.

It gave us many laughs here in the Okanogan and much to joke about, most of which can’t be quoted in the newspaper.

One texter with photo asked if it was a sign from God. Well, maybe. In these times of hypersensitivity, divisiveness and over reaction it was a great release to have a good belly laugh.

I understand from the news tonight that you are facing some repercussions on base. I am sorry for that but know that even though some may have been offended many of us enjoyed the humor of it.

Thank you. You made my day!
