To the editor:

Regarding the letter from John Hurd in the South Whidbey Record, “Mr. Netanyahu, Tear down this wall.”

Dear Mr. Hurd, the difference between the Berlin Wall and the dividing lines between Israel and Gaza and the West Bank and Israel is that the Palestinian governments of Gaza and the West Bank seek the destruction of Israel, not peaceably living together.
