To the editor:

As the new chairman of the board of directors of Whidbey Island Center for the Arts, I’d like to personally thank you, the community, for your past, present and future support (participation, financial and attendance).

Your support not only helps WICA fulfill its mission and bring the community together, but also helps Whidbey Island maintain its reputation as an artist’s community and reap the economic benefits that ensue.

Our mission, in part, is to provide an outstanding venue for aspiring and experienced performers in theater, music and dance to grow as artists. At the same time, we strive to broaden our audience’s knowledge and appreciation of the arts.

I encourage you to attend as many performances at WICA as possible so you can better appreciate our diverse offerings and show your continued support and thanks for our talented performers and all those behind the scenes, including our directors and volunteers.
