Clinton residents Zane and Graham Vanderwood, also known as “The Smash Brothaz,” are looking to extend their dancing family.

On Saturday, Sept. 27, they will hold auditions for their March performance at Whidbey Island Center for the Arts.

According to the Vanderwoods, it’s all about having fun.

The pair does not expect people to show up with a prior dance history or knowledge of hip-hop moves.

“We are just looking for people who want to dance, anybody who has a passion for it and is motivated,” said Graham Vanderwood.

He added that he and his younger brother are more than willing to teach aspiring dancers of any age.

“I just think it will be fun to get people from the community and dance with [them] and get them involved,” said Zane Vanderwood.

Auditions will be held on Saturday, Sept. 27 at Island Dance. Ages 6-11 will audition from 2-2:45 p.m. while ages 12-17 will audition from 2:45-3:30 p.m. and ages 18 and over will audition from 3:30-4:15 p.m.
