Norse out in force

Hundreds of people celebrated Nordic culture at the Whidbey Island Nordic Lodge.

The Nordic Folk Fest in Central Whidbey was a huge success, with plenty of vikings, Norwegian elk hounds, horses, Swedish meatballs, pickled herring and plenty of other Scandinavian food. The event took place Saturday and was hosted by the Whidbey Island Nordic Lodge. Hundreds of people showed up for the event that celebrates Nordic culture.
