Ian Bage presents “The Rhythm Dance Club” — a performance of spoken word from Bage’s novel, “Desire,” with dance by Maureen Freehill playing Serendipity and original music composed and performed by James “Shoes” Walker as the character of “Love.”

The performance is at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 12 and Friday, Jan. 13 at Whidbey Island Center for the Arts’ Zech Hall in Langley.

This show contains adult content and is not appropriate for youths under age 18.
