Bayview Farm & Garden to hold grand opening this weekend

Construction is complete and Bayview Farm & Garden will hold a ribbon-cutting and grand opening for its new garden shop this weekend. The event begins at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 23 at 2780 Marshview Ave., Bayview Corner; the ribbon cutting is at noon. Bayview Farm & Garden is a 2.5 acre full-service farm and garden center specializing in organic products and non-toxic solutions, including Flower House Café serving nourishing, seasonal food and drinks. The new expanded home and gift section offers boutique, small-batch products for the kitchen, pantry, home, and body as well as a wide range of stationery for any occasion.

The ribbon cutting will be performed by Langley Mayor Tim Callison. Business founder Maureen Murphy will also be present.

The event includes music by Trio Noveau and Rubatano Marimba Group, and a raffle that will be ongoing throughout the day. Prizes include a Japanese Maple tree, hanging basket, bird bath, or pottery piece.
