The holidays can sometimes feel overwhelming with demands on one’s time, energy and finances, yet the purpose of the Christmas season is to celebrate the spiritual strength we all share; this allows us to set aside the concepts of limitation.
“Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee,” (Psalms 55:22).
On Sunday, Dec. 11, the Christian Science service will focus on how Spirit nourishes, preserves, and protects all of creation. Join us in celebrating this constant support through prayer: “let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me,” (Psalms 40:11).
“The calm, strong currents of true spirituality, the manifestations of which are health, purity, and self-immolation, must deepen human experience, until the beliefs of material existence are seen to be a bald imposition,” (“Science and Health”).
Services begin at 10:30 a.m. at 15910 Highway 525, just north of Bayview and across from Useless Bay Road.
