Jace Kukuk may not have been the fastest pie eater, but he sure was the messiest.

Kukuk, 7, of Clinton was named “Messiest Pie Eater” in the pie eating contest at Greenbank Farm’s Bouncy House Play Day on July 26.

The event was held from noon to 4 p.m.

Children of Whidbey ages 2 to 14 gathered to play in four bounce houses. They also enjoyed a dunk tank, ring tosses, a fish pond, golf, putting, bean bag tosses and twirling tops.

The café as well as the other farm businesses were open during the event.

The event was sponsored by Whidbey Evangelical Free Church of Greenbank and Greenbank Farm Management Group.
