A power outage has left homes and businesses in Clinton in the dark just after 1 p.m. Sunday.

A power outage has left homes and businesses in Clinton in the dark just after 1 p.m. Sunday.

An initial outage that lasted less than a minute was followed by a second, longer outage just a few minutes later.

Traffic lights went dark at Highway 525 and Langley Road, and the Red Apple at Ken’s Korner stayed open after employees shifted the grocery over to generator power just after 1:15 p.m.

Some neighborhoods south of Highway 525 in the Clinton area did not lose power.
