On the heels of a controversial ban of a youth soccer coach from South Whidbey Parks and Recreation District fields, the parks commissioners will discuss field use, among other items, tonight.

The parks commissioners meeting begins at 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 19, at the district’s South Whidbey headquarters, 5475 Maxwelton Road.

Also on the agenda is a look at the district’s comprehensive plan programs, a discussion of going out for a levy in 2015 and a request for proposals for a district study of its staff compensation and benefits compared to other parks districts.
