Get a jump start on holiday shopping at this first annual “Holiday Gift Market” Nov. 9-10 in Coupeville, a benefit for the Whidbey General Hospital Foundation.

This market will feature a large variety of handmade gifts from a select group of Whidbey Island’s top crafters representing all of Whidbey Island.

A portion of all sales will be donated to the hospital foundation.

“This-must visit gift market features imaginative gift items from the following Whidbey artisans,” said Trish Rose, hospital spokesperson. Included are:

•Silver and brass jewelry creations from Barbara Mundell.

•Fudge from Jack and Rita Van Arnam of Whidbey Island Fudge.

•Christmas cards, stationary sets and more from Norma Roberts.

•Pre-decorated Christmas trees and garden art from Kevin Pardue.

•Christmas wreaths from Art Bird.

•Snow people characters from Lori Miller.

•Cleansing with gently scented goat milk soaps from Susan Miles.

•Gourmet jams, jellies and spices from Laura Fitzgerald of Islander Herbs.

•Leaded glass ornaments and artworks from Sandy Dupernill.

•Hand finished cutting boards and more from Jim Warren.

•Healthy skin care from Christine Landis.

The Holiday Gift Market will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9, and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10 in the Coupeville Recreation Hall, downtown Coupeville.
