Betty and Ray Posz celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary this month.

The couple married Oct. 23, 1948 in Minneapolis, Minn. after meeting at the University of Minnesota.

For 33 years, Betty, Ray and their three daughters, Nancy, Mary and Marci, were weekend residents at their cabin in Sandy Hook. Betty and Ray retired, downsized and moved to the island full-time 12 years ago.

Ray and Betty’s daughters and family had a celebration in their honor Saturday, Oct. 25 at the Holmes Harbor Rod & Gun Club in Langley.
