The deadline is coming Saturday, Oct. 31 to submit applications for the Rotary Youth Exchange Program for the 2010/11 school year.

Selected students will live in a foreign country from August 2010 until approximately July 2011.

The program is sponsored yearly by the Rotary Club of South Whidbey.

Students interested in participating may pick up an application from the high school counselor’s office or contact Ed Gemkow at 321-6414 or e-mail edward@gemkow.net. Completed applications can be e-mailed to Gemkow or faxed to 321-6535 by Oct. 31.

Applicants will be interviewed with their parents in November, and selection will follow by Nov. 20.
