The regular meeting of Island County Diking District 1 has been canceled for the second straight month.

Diking commission chairman Steve Arnold said the meeting was canceled because of the lack of district business.

The meeting had been scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 6.

The district commissioners regularly meet on the first Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Freeland Library.

The next scheduled meeting is Feb. 3.
