Donors needed at blood drive in Freeland

The Puget Sound Blood Center will visit Trinity Lutheran Church in Freeland between noon to 6 p.m. on Monday, May 3 for a blood drive.

The Puget Sound Blood Center will visit Trinity Lutheran Church in Freeland between noon to 6 p.m. on Monday, May 3 for a blood drive.

All interested donors are encourage to stop by; donating blood takes about an hour, and every donor gets a “mini-physical” that includes a blood-pressure check. Donors mush weight at least 110 pounds and be free of cold or the symptoms. There is no upper age limit; a regular donor in the South Whidbey community is in her nineties.
