Economic Development Council offers business-opening tips in Oak Harbor

Being a first-time business owner can be perilous, and the Island County Economic Development Council wants to help people learn to become entrepreneurs.

Being a first-time business owner can be perilous, and the Island County Economic Development Council wants to help people learn to become entrepreneurs.

A free business planning class is offered from 1 to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3 at the Oak Harbor Library, 1000 S.E. Regatta Drive.

Participants will learn to analyze the market, use marketing skills and build a cash flow document. In addition, Sno-Isle Library will demonstrate its free online business tools.
