Father-son give combat presentations at Association of Naval Aviation gathering

The Association of Naval Aviation, Whidbey Island Squadron 40, will meet for a no-host lunch, followed by a presentation at the NAS Whidbey Island Officers Club at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 10.

The Association of Naval Aviation, Whidbey Island Squadron 40, will meet for a no-host lunch, followed by a presentation at the NAS Whidbey Island Officers Club at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 10.

The January luncheon will feature Col. Reed Craig, USAF (Ret.) who will describe his combat tours in Vietnam flying the RF-101 Voodoo on reconnaissance missions and the B-52 “Buff” on Arc Light missions. The Feb. 14 luncheon will feature his son, Navy Cdr. Jeff Craig, who will describe the first combat deployment of the EA-18G during his tour with VAQ-132 and EA training operations during his current tour with VAQ-129.

Non-members are welcome to attend.
