A group of about a dozen South Whidbey residents held a pro-Israel rally at Bayview Sunday afternoon. Many people driving by honked or gave a thumbs up while one pedestrian yelled out “Free Palestine.” Wayne Flaates, an organizer of the event, said the rally will continue each Sunday in the new year until things settle down in the Middle East.
