Hearts & Hammers seeks workday help

Hearts and Hammers has the homes, now they need the volunteers. Group organizers recently held a selection meeting and nailed down the projects they hope to complete during this year’s workday, May 2. But, they’ll need a few more hands to get everything done, according to a Sunday news release.

Group organizers recently held a selection meeting and nailed down the projects they hope to complete during this year’s workday, May 2. But, they’ll need a few more hands to get everything done, according to a Sunday news release.

“Now we need volunteers to step up and sign up… ,” said Ross Godwin, president of Hearts and Hammers, in the news release. “This program has been doing home repairs for those who cannot afford them, to keep their places safe and a healthy environment, for 22 years. So please let’s give back to our community and support each other.”
