HOPE Therapeutic Riding Center is planning for its annual “Mother of All Garage Sales” at the American Legion in May, and is looking for donations from the community for the sale, one of the nonprofit’s major fundraisers.

The organization is also looking for a place to store donated items until set-up day on May 6. The sale is 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the American Legion, on Highway 525 in Bayview.

Organizers said that from past experience, donations of electronics are not needed (they don’t sell) and there is usually only room for new or nearly new clothing donations.
