Both directions of State Route 20 are closed Wednesday, Jan. 17, at Deception Road (milepost 44) near Anacortes after multiple collisions caused by winter weather conditions and spinouts.

Snowplows are en route to help clear the roadway. There is no estimate how long this closure will last.

People traveling in the area should use alternate routes. Expect winter weather conditions and drive for those conditions.
