Drivers should be prepared for possible single-lane closures during the day as a cluster of trees are slated to come down along Highway 20, south of Coupeville, starting Monday, Nov. 30.

Located near the Island Disposal transfer station between Jacobs and Morris roads, according to a news release from the Washington State Department of Transportation, about 100 trees will be cut down to add a center turn lane on the highway. Puget Sound Energy must move its utility lines, which is why the trees will be cut.
