“Planning for the Future” is the theme for the Island County Back Country Horsemen’s next monthly meeting at 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 26 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Freeland.

The public is welcome to join with other equestrians to develop and maintain multi-user trails, organize trail rides and conduct educational outreach efforts on trail etiquette and “leave no trace” methods.

Also at next week’s meeting, the Island County Back Country Horsemen is reorganizing its committee structure and will complete its slate for officers and board members for the upcoming year.
