City Councilman Bruce Allen announced that HUB, a youth after-school hangout in downtown Langley, has closed down early due to financial reasons.

“The fundraising for that thing has been lacking at this time of year,” Allen said. “We’re looking for new ways to revitalize it and get it back on track.”

The HUB was open daily Monday through Thursday in the afternoon and Fridays from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
