“This is an opportunity for kids to be creative and have fun making costumes to show off their favorite foods, while increasing awareness of hunger issues in our community and the world,” said Good Cheer’s executive director Kathy McLaughlin.

Entry forms are available at both Good Cheer Thrift Stores in Langley and Clinton. Children and parents should meet in front of Good Cheer in Langley at 9 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 16. Parents are requested to accompany their child in the parade. More details are available on Good Cheer’s Web site at www.goodcheer.org.
