Island Recycling, box-top savers boost books for South End schools

Workers at Island Recycling in Freeland and others who collect Box Tops for Education did a lot of work - enough to secure $1,253.40 for books at Langley Middle School.

Workers at Island Recycling in Freeland and others who collect Box Tops for Education did a lot of work – enough to secure $1,253.40 for books at Langley Middle School.

The program has helped schools across the country since 1996, during which it has raised more than $475 million. The pink logo can be found on the top of boxed products such as Hamburger Helper, Kleenex and Betty Crocker.
