The following items were selection from reports made to the Island County Sheriff’s Office:

Thursday, Oct. 13

At 7:28 a.m., a Cultus Bay Road resident reported that someone broke a lock and stole a bunch of items out of the garage.

At 3:30 p.m., a Nubian Way resident reported that someone cut his dog’s lead and vandalized his lawnmower.

Friday, Oct. 14

At 1:42 a.m., a driver reported nearly hitting a man walking in the middle of Oak Harbor Road.

At 1:50 p.m., a caller reported that a woman on Valley Road was assaulted by her boyfriend and he took the baby and left.

At 10:17 p.m., a Simmons Drive resident reported that a large pink pig was in her yard.

Saturday, Oct. 15

At 3:52 a.m., a West Frostad Road resident reported hearing kids and a bunch of coyotes in the woods.

At 3:24 p.m., a caller reported that windows were broken out of a vehicle on Hill Valley Road.

At 3:49 p.m., a Joshuas Way resident reported finding a creepy photo hanging up on her property.

At 5:42 p.m., a Virginia Avenue resident reported that a woman in a trench coat was roaming around the neighborhood.

Sunday, Oct. 16

At 1 p.m., a resident reported that a “crazy male” in the area of a Highway 20 bus stop in Central Whidbey was acting strange.

At 3:45 p.m., a Piper Trail resident reported that they were renting a bull from a neighbor and the bull escaped.

At 4:57 p.m., a caller reported that someone rifled through a car on Vinton Avenue and stole marijuana.

At 7:12 p.m., a resident reported that someone in a black Chevrolet 2500 dumped garbage in a gravel lot on Highway 20 near Jones Road.
