Registration is coming up on May 11.South Whidbey Primary School has set Friday, May 11, as kindergarten registration day for the fall 2001 class.Parents may register their children in the school’s multi-purpose room from 9:30 a.m.-noon and 1-3 p.m. The children must be five years old on or before August 31, 2001. Parents should bring birth certificates and dates of immunizations. Those who don’t have birth certificates should order them as soon as possible to allow for processing time. If the child was born in Washington State, call the Island County Health Department, 321-5111, ext. 351 to order a copy; fee is $13. The health department can also provide contact numbers for other states.Call the health department also for information about immunizations. Its Southend office, located across the street from the primary school, will be open from 1-5 p.m. on Tuesday of each week.
