Langley church to “Bag-it” at movie night

“Bag-it” is a family friendly and thought provoking movie about how this crazy-for-plastic world has finally caught up to us.

Gather the family and join others at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 30, for Movie Night at St. Hubert Catholic Church. “Bag-it” is a family friendly and thought provoking movie about how this crazy-for-plastic world has finally caught up to us. Appropriate for 4th grade and up, this touching and often flat-out-funny film follows “everyman” Jeb Berrier as he embarks on a global tour to unravel the complexities of our plastic world.

What starts as a film about plastic bags evolves into a wholesale investigation into plastic and its affect on our waterways, oceans and even our own bodies. All are welcome to enjoy the film, refreshments and discussion. The evening is sponsored by the parish Peace and Social Justice Commission. The church is located at 804 Third St. in Langley. Call 221-5383.
