Langley will get its first look at its budget for 2014 on Monday.

City Council will meet for its regularly scheduled business meeting at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall. Mayor Fred McCarthy will present the draft budget for discussion.

The city will also review its amplified music ordinance, which has caused some derision among businesses and residents along Second Street. Later in the meeting, the City Council will examine an application for an amplified music permit submitted by Mo’s Pub, the source of much consternation from the Second Street pub’s residential neighbors.

Langley’s leaders are expected to approve a contract for legal services with the Lighthouse Law Group and Jeff Taraday, who will be the lead attorney for Langley.
