Langley Community Club President John Lawson presented a $300 check in appreciation to the Langley Main Street Association, which Program Manager Lorinda Kay accepted in October.
The association helped light the nights in downtown Langley this month.
Every fall, Langley Main Street Association adds lights to the downtown trees on First and Second streets, at City Hall, and at the Langley Library to decorate and brighten streets for nighttime visitors.
The project is part of an ongoing collaboration between the two organizations to enhance the town as well as the experience for residents during events like the Community Feast, Ice Cream Social, Soup Box Derby, and St. Paddy’s Dinner.
