Eric Nerison has resigned from his position as Langley Middle School principal.

Nerison will leave in order to take a position as superintendent of the Kalama School District.

The South Whidbey School District is accepting applications for the position, which is listed on its web site.

At a school board meeting Wednesday, March 25, Superintendent Jo Moccia announced that an interview team, which consists of representatives from the student, parent and school faculty populations will select six candidates to proceed to interviews.

The committee will then select two top contenders from the pool of six.
