Langley will talk about land use

The city of Langley wants to hear from locals and is gathering a diverse group of people who live, work or see their future in Langley to help map the city’s land use. Topics may include different types of housing, businesses, mixed use of residential and business, parks and protection of open space, trails, connector streets, community gardens and other desired uses.

The city of Langley wants to hear from locals and is gathering a diverse group of people who live, work or see their future in Langley to help map the city’s land use. Topics may include different types of housing, businesses, mixed use of residential and business, parks and protection of open space, trails, connector streets, community gardens and other desired uses.

The city of Langley Planning Department will host “Mapping Langley 2030” from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28 so people can map Langley’s future land use. City officials promise an interactive evening with small groups working with a map and key land-use features.

The meeting will be held in Fellowship Hall at Langley United Methodist Church. Registration is required by Oct. 23. Forms are available at click here</a or at city hall.
