Voters will have another opportunity to hear from hospital board and Langley mayoral candidates next week.

The League of Women Voters has scheduled a candidate forum for 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8 at the Langley United Methodist Church. Candidates are expected to answer questions from and discuss topics raised by a league moderator. The forum, co-sponsored with Sno-Isle Libraries, is free and open to the public.

Questions may be submitted for the candidates to lwv.Whidbey@gmail.com, and the League Forum Committee will consider and consolidate all submissions for use at the forum, according to a news release.
