Artist Libby Berry will demonstrate her craft Tuesday, Nov. 11 at the Trinity Lutheran Community Building in Freeland.

Berry has been invited as a featured guest of the Artists of South Whidbey and will be demonstrating the natural law of composition, showing how it can be used to create balance and motion in a piece.

According to a recent press release, Berry teaches that “it is the unseen that creates the scene” and will be instructing in fundamental principles which she calls “the secrets of the masters.”

Artists of South Whidbey welcomes all painters of all levels and media. The event will begin at 11:30 a.m. with a sack lunch; the meeting will begin at noon.

Attendees are invited to bring artwork to share for gentle critique.
