Someone looking to get involved in community issues with a passion for public libraries may want to look into joining the Langley Library Board.

The board meets quarterly and advises the Langley City Council regarding all issues related to the city-owned library building, including maintenance, landscaping and building use. The next board meeting is Thursday, Sept. 12. Board members also advocate for and promote library programs and services. Three positions are available. Facility management or library experience is not required.
