Local students earn spot on WSU honor roll

Fourteen students from South Whidbey have been named to Washington State University’s President’s Honor Roll for fall 2008.

Fourteen students from South Whidbey have been named to Washington State University’s President’s Honor Roll for fall 2008.

To be eligible for the honor roll, an undergraduate student must earn a grade point average of 3.75 in at least nine graded hours in a single term at WSU, or a GPA of 3.50 based on at least 15 cumulative hours of graded work.

From Clinton, the outstanding students are Wendy Marie Alexander, Dylan Arthur Fate, Tyler D. Hoch, Jessica Joy Johnson, Shannon Elizabeth McAfee and Mary Elizabeth Michell.

From Freeland, the honorees are Courtney Ann Dettrich, Brianne Alana Dumke, Jennifer Lauren Hansen and Elizabeth Marie Lutch.

From Langley, Twyla Elisabet Godwin, Leslie Michelle Patrick and Leon G. Shordon made the honor roll.

Amanda Jeanne Sawyer of Greenbank also earned honors for fall 2008.
