Low tides mean cancelled sailings

Washington State Ferries has cancelled 16 sailings on the Keystone-Port Townsend run in February because of low tides and ebb currents.

The cancelled sailings from Keystone are 10:15 a.m. and noon Tuesday, Feb. 2; noon, Wednesday, Feb. 3; 6 and 7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 26; 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 27; and 7:30 and 9:15 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 28.

The cancelled sailings from Port Townsend are 9:30 and 11:15 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 2; 11:15 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 3; 5:15 and 6:45 p.m. Friday, Feb. 26; 6:45 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 27; and 6:45 and 8:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 28.

Three sailings have been added from Keystone: 12:05 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 2; 7:45 p.m. Friday, Feb. 26; and 9:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 28.

There have also been three sailings added to the Port Townsend run: 11:20 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 2; 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 26; and 8:45 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 28.
