“Two mental health care providers have integrated their executive and administrative services to cut costs.The move was announced Thursday by Community Mental Health Services, a nonprofit provider of mental health and chemical dependency services in Island, Skagit and San Juan counties. The agency is joining with Compass Health, which provides similar services in Snohomish County.John Pederson, president of Community Mental Health, said in a news release that the agreement does not constitute a merger, but said, It is important to move to further strengthen the working relationship between our two organizations.
