Guest speaker Chris Nelson will give the talk “New Year’s Revelations” at the Unity of Whidbey service on Sunday.

It’s a new year and many make resolutions to force a change. Some then resist the resolution and promptly give up or forget it.

This year, Nelson will suggest a new approach; taking time to gently reveal what is our highest good and what really needs to be released, to change, to be forgiven, or to be learned, then with this clarity make small steps in this new direction.

There will be a Burning Bowl ceremony to quickly release the old and create space for the new.

Special guest Kathy Baxter will bring her “choir” of crystal singing bowls to add a deeper dimension to the ceremony and Tadd CharetteNunn will provide the music. Donna Vanderheiden will be the platform assistant.

All are welcome. The service is 10 a.m. Sunday at Unity’s church at 5671 Crawford Road.
